Hi! I've been making lists this past week. Being a full-time artist with ADHD, it's sometimes a challenge for me to stay organized through a long project. I use Trello, and I'm always refining how it works best for me. Right now, all my projects are lists with each action being the next small step. It's taken me a bit to get all the projects split into small tasks, but this way it's not overwhelming. Do you have a great way to keep your projects moving along? I'd love to hear it! Just respond to this email. This week, I have 2 pet portraits and 1 mixed media canvas for commissions. I also have a reverse coloring book and an illustrated children's book that I'm just starting on. I'm so grateful for these commissions. If you're thinking about a commission, but you want to spread out the cost, check out my Patreon. You can get commissions regularly for a monthly price that won't break your bank. Tip: If your art markers bleed where they shouldn't, and the colorless blender isn't quite enough, you can carefully use 99% isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab to get *just* a little more out of the paper. If you pull off most of the cotton, the stick will hold less alcohol, so you're less likely to overdo it. I'd love to hear what's going on in your world. Just reply to this email. I read them all! Where you can hang out with me

🌿✨ I'm an artist bringing colorful, whimsical worlds to life! I illustrate playful scenes for children's books and craft needle-felted creatures alongside wire and fiber sculptures inspired by nature, dreams, and the magic of life. I’m fascinated by textures, clouds, mysticism, and movement. When I’m not making art, you’ll find me hiking, geeking out over Fallout, or lost in a space opera. Let’s explore the wonder together! 🚀🎨
Hello! It's been a long time. I've returned with a cute new metal neck joint and working hands to play in the studio again, finally! Being completely disabled in 2023, then on the long road to recovery for the past year has taught me not to wait to follow my dreams. So now that I'm back, I'm not settling for safe. Also, frozen custard. All Things New I've put notes on all my old social media to direct folks to my website, https://3foldart.co, where you'll find my current works for sale once I...
The Weekly Weird From the Studio of k8 Catlin Hi! I'm having a major case of the squirrels. Those dang things are *everywhere* today, making things take too long. The Friday night watch party was a success! We watched, we laughed, we fed popcorn to Revan the doggo. I'll definitely be making the 3rd Fridays at 7:30pm Watch Party time from now on. I think we're going to watch a James Bond classic next time, but I'll do a poll first so we have options. My fave movie of all time is still Legend...
